Jazz Sushi Jam Sessions Featuring Joe Smith 10pm Thursday, April 24th. In Local Bar near the flaming Memorial next to St. Maria del Mar in the Borne. Check this out. free

American Football
American Society evening with the Barcelona Dragons.
Presentation by Sam Rutigliano, assistant coach of the Dragons. Rutigliano has forty five years of coaching experience and is entering his fourth year with the Dragons.He coached for the Broncos, Patriots, Jets and Saints before he was the award wining coach head coach of the Cleveland Browns. He'll talk not just about football and victories but also about how he has overcome defeats and setbacks in his life. Other members of the Dragons will be present. Soft drinks, beer and snacks as well as a raffle. (note new date it has been postponed)

Cost: 5 Euros for non members. NO charge for members and children.

Friday, 25th of April, CINECIRCULAR screening at L'Atelier, Rambla del Raval 49 (nearest metro Liceu or Drassanes). Tickets are 4 Euros which includes a drink. Cafe and patio open at 9pm. 10pm: Short documentary by Stefan Backes about his recent visit to Cuba.
10.30 pm: 'Dead Man Walking' by Bill Treharne Jones, U.K., a documentary
about a 16 year old on Death Row in Florida who has one more month to
live... and appeal. Bill and his filmcrew appeared to be the only people in Florida who thought it strange that a 16 year old could be given a death sentence. Check out cinecircular.com for an example of the weekly mailing with independent film news in English and Spanish.
